Together with Co-op Funeralcare, we’re tackling an important issue head on, lifting the stigma around talking about death and funeral wishes. 66% of individuals have thought about their own funeral preferences, yet only a small 7% feel comfortable actually talking about them.

In an effort to shift perceptions around death once and for all, our campaign features real people from across the country talking about their funeral wishes, showing that it doesn’t need to be a scary or daunting topic – it can and should be something we’re all talking about. Because talking now, helps your loved ones later.

CELEBRITY SEND OFF

Following on from the launch, we partnered with Channel 4 in a bold new series that gave some famous faces a unique opportunity: the chance to watch their own funeral.

The show was a roaring success; the Guardian chose it as one of the best shows to stream the week it launched, it was featured on ITV Good Morning Britain, and there was a 91.5% positive sentiment around the show – which is incredibly impressive given the topic is death and funerals.
